At ICVCM, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes and values diversity. We proudly uphold the principles of equal opportunity employment, ensuring that all current and prospective team members are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity, regardless of their background.

The Expert Panel is appointed for a three year term, ensuring fresh perspectives and ongoing improvements to our standards and decision-making processes. Panel members are supported by 14 subject matter experts who bring particular insight on specific aspects of how to evaluate carbon-crediting programs and classes of carbon credits.

We are pleased to announce the new cohort of Expert Panel members for the 2025 -2028 term. Find out more about the 2025-2028 panel members and their wide range of expertise here.

Expert Panel 2021-2024

Discover our inaugural Expert Panel that played a pivotal role in shaping the foundational frameworks that underpin our work today.

Our Distinguished Advisors include 28 world-renowned leaders from across the voluntary carbon market value chain who provide strategic insight and advice to the Board.

Our Executive Secretariat

The Executive Secretariat supports the Governing Board and Expert Panel while overseeing all operational tasks on behalf of the Integrity Council. It comprises both a growing team of directly-employed staff, and benefits from the partnership and expertise of three leading climate, finance, and standards NGOs: the British Standards Institution (BSI), the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), and the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). During its early months, the Green Finance Institute (GFI) played a pivotal role in the Executive Secretariat as the launch host and operational delivery lead. They continue to provide operational and strategic advice and support.
