Biography

Mauricio Rovea is a Carbon Technical Analyst at ICVCM, where he provides technical expertise in evaluating voluntary carbon market (VCM) programs and categories. He began his career as a project developer, focusing on renewable energy and waste management projects. Before joining ICVCM, Mauricio worked on methodologies at Verra and served as a member of the UNFCCC accreditation assessment team roster of experts.

He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Renewable Energy.

Outside of work, Mauricio enjoys traveling and exploring diverse cultures.
