Current Procurement Opportunities
Consultant – Development of an online platform is required to meet the priorities of the Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities Engagement Forum
In its support for the Indigenous Peoples and local communities Engagement Forum for the Voluntary Carbon Market, the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market is seeking a Consultant to develop an online platform required to meet the priorities of the Forum.
The Forum seeks to:
- Contribute to the climate objectives of the Paris Agreement while safeguarding the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples and / or local communities; and,
- Strengthen the contribution of Indigenous Peoples and / or local communities as partners in a high-integrity market.
The objectives of the work is to deliver the online platform with the aspects outlined in the detailed specifications below and thereby, provide Indigenous Peoples and local communities a space through which they can share knowledge to foster more effective carbon projects.
The Integrity Council is seeking a market leader with experience in designing and developing multi-functional online platforms, with a knowledge of Indigenous data sovereignty principles and community engagement.
