From 2021 to 2024, our inaugural Expert Panel played a pivotal role in shaping the foundational frameworks that underpin our work today. Comprising experts from diverse fields—including carbon market accounting, environmental science and social and environmental safeguards, the panel ensured that our standards are both rigorous and inclusive. 

Their contributions have been instrumental in the development of the Core Carbon Principles (CCPs) and the Assessment Framework, which set the benchmark for high-quality carbon credits. By integrating scientific rigour with comprehensive stakeholder engagement, the 2021-2024 Expert Panel helped lay the groundwork for a transparent and effective voluntary carbon market.
