Biography

Mr. Feng Hu is the Founder & Director of silkroad.earth, focused on bridging implementation gaps in accelerating sustainability transitions. He supports the UNEP Finance Initiative’s policy work in Asia Pacific and is an expert under the UNFCCC’s UAE-Belém work program on adaptation indicators. Feng holds MSc degrees in Finance (Economic Policy) from SOAS University of London and in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich, as well as a BSc in Environmental Science from Zhejiang University.
With over 15 years of global experience, his background spans water policy, carbon markets, climate risk analysis, and sustainable finance. Feng has held senior sustainability roles at V.E, DBS Bank, and PwC New Zealand, and audited CDM and voluntary carbon credit projects across Asia and Africa.
