Biography

Sandeep is a carbon market expert with 20+ years of experience with Multilateral Development Banks, consultancies, auditing firms, and manufacturing industries, working in the area of climate change, energy and environmental aspects. He has been involved in the development and assessment of over 1000 climate change mitigation activities worldwide, covering a range of sectoral scopes: energy, industry, construction, transportation, waste management and agriculture.
Sandeep has developed several methodologies and Standardized Baselines under CDM and independent carbon standards too. He is also associated as an expert on the Article 6.4 mechanism under UNFCCC, Gold Standard and Global Carbon Council too.
He holds a Master’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
