ICVCM Tagging Guide
The Tagging Manual sets out the approach that CCP-Eligible Programs and the Integrity Council will take to ensuring accurate tagging (meaning identifying and labelling), of CCP-Approved carbon credits.
It builds on Section 4 of the ICVCM Assessment Procedure, which may be revised from time to time.
The contents of this Tagging Manual are not intended to impose additional rules or obligations on CCP-Eligible Programs and are intended to ensure that the requirements of the Assessment Procedure are implemented in a consistent and
verifiable manner
Hearings Procedure to implement the Assessment Procedure
The ICVCM Hearings Procedure outlines the formal process by which the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) conducts hearings.
This document sets clear guidelines for how hearings are initiated, managed, and resolved, ensuring transparency and fairness.
It covers key areas such as the roles of participants, the submission of evidence, and decision-making procedures, reinforcing the Integrity Council’s commitment to high integrity and governance within the voluntary carbon market.
ICVCM Assurance Manual
The purpose of this Assurance Manual is to explain how the Integrity Council for the
Voluntary Carbon Market (Integrity Council or ICVCM) implements the ongoing oversight and assurance that is described in the ICVCM Assessment Procedure.
The overarching aims of oversight and assurance by the ICVCM are to: ensure that CCP-Eligible programs continue to adhere to the CCPs and Assessment Framework criteria and requirements; ensure market confidence; support scrutiny by stakeholders through transparency of findings; and help identify themes in the way CCP-Eligible programs operate that indicate need for further guidance or an opportunity for sharing of best practices.
This Assurance Manual aims to support CCP-Eligible programs understanding of how the ICVCM implements oversight and assurance. It does not create any rights for third parties and cannot be relied upon by third parties against either any of the ICVCM entities or any CCP-Eligible program.
CCP-Eligible Program Material Changes Disclosure Form
This form should be used by authorised representatives of CCP-Eligible Programs to notify the ICVCM of any potential or actual material changes to their program or the manner is which the program is structured or operated. Material change notifications can be made as far in advance as possible.
