Biography
Dani is from Montreal Lake Cree Nation, an Indigenous community in Canada and serves as Executive Director of the Restore, Assert and Defend (RAD) Network, a national network that connects Indigenous Nations and communities to financing, tools and resources for Indigenous-led nature-based climate solutions. She has deep experience in Indigenous-led forest carbon and stewardship finance, built through her direct work representing Indigenous-owned carbon offsets in the voluntary and British Columbia compliance markets, where she engaged with Indigenous leadership, project proponents, market actors and governments. A committed advocate for Indigenous rights and carbon market integrity, Dani holds a certificate in Forest Carbon Management from the University of British Columbia. She brings a grounded, community-centered approach to advancing Indigenous-led climate action.
