ICROA’s code of best practice has played a foundational role in bringing the ecosystem together around standards for governance and operations in the voluntary carbon market.
The ICVCM has had the honour of working alongside ICROA since 2021, collaborating and engaging to build frameworks for a market that delivers integrity, scale and climate impact.
As the baton passes, we thank the incredible ICROA team for their commitment to the collective endeavour of working towards a well-functioning market that helps deliver on the Paris goals.
The ICVCM’s Core Carbon Principles (CCPs) and Assessment Framework set the independent global threshold for high-integrity carbon credits. The ICVCM assesses and oversees carbon crediting programs and their methodologies, to ensure they meet robust, transparent standards that bring confidence to the market.
