Biography
Eloise Conley is a Carbon Analyst at the ICVCM, where she provides expert support in evaluating VCM programs. Before joining the ICVCM, Eloise worked as a Senior Sustainability Associate at PwC UK, assisting clients across a broad range of ESG-related subjects. During her time there, she mainly supported organizations to navigate the carbon markets, helping to develop offsetting policies, and conduct project risk assessments. She also played a leading role in a number of thought leadership pieces, focusing on topics such as carbon market sentiment and the integration of gender considerations into carbon projects.
Eloise holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from the University of Leeds, where she specialized in the relationship between deforestation and local climate change trends in the Amazon. Following this, she also attained a Master of Science in Global Sustainability Solutions from the University of Exeter, producing a final thesis analysing market standards that guide integrity in the VCM. Since completing her studies, Eloise has continued to deepen her involvement in the VCM, with particular interest in nature-based solutions, local community engagement, gender equity, and promoting improved integrity practices across the market.
