Biography
Jonah Goldman is the Managing Director of Breakthrough Energy, a network of investment vehicles, philanthropic programs, and policy and advocacy efforts founded by Bill Gates and committed to scaling the technologies the world needs to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. His work with Breakthrough Energy has included working with Bill to establish the Breakthrough Energy Coalition in 2015, helping create Breakthrough Energy Ventures the following year as a new model for climate-smart venture capital, and over the last two years, building the larger Breakthrough Energy network as a comprehensive, end-to-end approach to accelerating the clean energy transition.
Mr. Goldman lives in Seattle, and he holds a J.D. degree from Boston College Law School and a B.A. degree in History from Binghamton University.
