Biography

Sue is a gender and inclusion specialist working on climate justice with a long career working in international development. She is currently working in a strategic advisory and Board capacity with clients including the UK FCDO and Africa Development Bank. Her Board roles include Chair of the US based WOCAN (Women Organising for Change in Natural Resource Management) and board member of  the Dutch based Mama Cash Feminist Fund. Sue previously co-founded and led Social Development Direct, a leading international consultancy providing gender and inclusion expertise working with the UN, regional development banks, UK DFID (now FCDO) and a range of international non government organisations. Her focus throughout her career has been on influencing the flow of international development finance to be inclusive and empowering for women and local communities.
