Miguel Cortes is Professional Senior at Atmosphere Alternative in Bogota, Colombia. He is a climate change mitigation, energy, and environmental consultant with 27 years of experience. He has been working as a project developer, project manager, validator, verifier, and technical expert on GHG emission reduction worldwide initiatives under Clean Developed Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard Foundation (GSF -SC), Verified Carbon Standard (VCS – Verra) & Global Carbon Council (GCC) frameworks. Miguel is a member of the Registration and Issuance Team (RIT) and Art 6.4 Mechanism of the UNFCCC and a Consultant of the Roster of Experts for Sustain-Cert and Global Carbon Council.
