Biography

Jonathan Head has joined the ICVCM as a Project Manager, working with the Policy and Implementation team to support the delivery of Program and Category Assessments.

Jonathan has 6 years’ experience working within the UK’s leading environmental certification body, Soil Association Certification Ltd, working across several sectors including agriculture, forestry and the voluntary carbon market.

As part of this work, Jonathan has completed multiple Validations against the largest nature-based voluntary carbon Programs in the UK, helped design and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of the Validation and Verification process, and worked with Program owners to improve the auditability of voluntary carbon Program requirements.

Jonathan holds a BSc in Environmental Science and an MSc in Climate Change Science and Policy.
