Biography

Farrukh was a senior member of the then UN Secretary General’s Ban Ki Moon Climate Team. He led global negotiations on the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals, establishing the Adaptation Fund, Green Climate Fund, promoting carbon foot printing, and incubating several markets led voluntary solutions by the financial sector to manage climate risks.
