Biography

Catalina Cecchi is Senior Manager for International Strategies at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). Masters in Economics of Sustainable Development from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and former member of the COP25 Chilean Presidency team, her research at C2ES centers on the role of non-Party stakeholders’ in ambition and implementation toward the long-term goals of the Paris Agreement, with a focus on mitigation, carbon markets, and the global stock take.

Catalina has expertise in the mining and energy fields from working at BHP, the Chilean Mining Council and Ministry of Energy, and comes with an ESG auditing background from Deloitte. She is also an analytical philosopher and archetypal psychoanalyst from the James Hillman Institute in Florence.
