Biography

Brenda Vaccari is a Forestry Engineer from Peru with a Master’s of Science in Global Change Ecology in the Bayreuth University, in Germany. She has over 7 years of experience working in international climate change projects with a focus on climate policy and forestry. Brenda has worked for prestigious organizations, such as, Fraunhofer, UFZ Helmholtz, and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.

Since 2021 Brenda is more involved in the Voluntary carbon markets and has worked as carbon projects manager and project developer of nature-based solutions, gaining a deeper understanding of the sector.

At the ICVCM Brenda works as Carbon Technical Analyst and will be involved in the programme and categories’ assessment.
