Biography
Frances Seymour is Distinguished Senior Fellow at the World Resources Institute, where she leads research and outreach related to tropical forests and climate change. She formerly served as Director General of the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) based in Bogor, Indonesia. She is lead author of the 2016 book Why Forests? Why Now? The Science, Economics, and Politics of Tropical Forests and Climate Change.
