Although the technology approach of retrofitting existing infrastructure is relatively low cost, Pacific Biochar has found it difficult to finance the significant working capital burden associated with production of biochar, deployment of biochar, and MRV necessary to issue credits.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-83e0a69\" data-block-id=\"83e0a69\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Working towards a CCP-Approved methodology increased the project&#8217;s monitoring, reporting and verification requirements.
